Classic tales of stupidity.

Every now and then.. people then to get bored. I for one, tend to get bored quite easily. So what do we commonly do when we get bored? Sometimes guys tfk, sometimes girls go shopping.. I?-- I prefer to sleep.

So heres the question: What happens when I get terribly bored at 8.30pm?
Answer: I go to sleep at 8.30pm.

Question 2: What time would i wake up if i started sleeping at 8.30?
answer: 2.00am

We all know the word 'soul'.. most of the time its related to some religious thing, some 'spirit' or stuff like that. But if asked to define the word 'SOUL'.. not many could find the words to begin their sentence.

So anyway.. i was reading some CNS lectures.. and from what i understand, everything is related to the brain.. starting from emotions, sensations, perception, cognition, speech, movement... everything !

So now.. here's the question:
Once we die.. our 'soul' leaves the body rite? (correct me if im wrong).. so then our 'soul' is supposed to go to heaven/hell. If we go to heaven, its supposed to feel nice, and the opposite is true if we go to hell (correct me if im wrong again). So.. since after the point of death.. we aint got no brain no more.. this means that we cant feel pain/pleasure, we cant think, we cant talk, we cant move. So, whats so 'nice' about heaven and 'not nice' about hell?
Mayb for that matter, we've never heard of any religious literature talking about human riots in heaven or hell.. unlike on earth where we have all those gay-rights shit and anti-ISA stuff going around.. coz up there we all got no brains.. (down here we usually dont use it.)

Or mayb the soul just exists and floats around like the ice cream in my coke and wait till it gets dissolved by time?..

Hmmm... so, whats the 'soul'?.. and what can it do?
Probably it doesnt exist..
Like a Lego toy made from small little pieces that can be activated by electricity, humans are made from lil atoms that stack together.. and get activated by sugar to reveal stupidity.

Retarded

This is gonna be one of the most retarded statements i would probably ever make in my life:

I MISS SEM 4

The adrenaline rush, the stress... the feeling of not having any time for the mind to wander across the vast universe.

Sem 5 is just retarded.. theres so much assignments.. so many CNS lectures to study.. but the main problem is that theres so much free time that theres barely any motivation to get moving.

Haihz.. IMU just has a way of screwing with me..

1 Year old.

Its been a while since the first time i made my blog post. Today makes this blog 1 full year old. Bad times and good times, for better or for worse.. all the memories will be kept here for many many more years to come..

Thinking out loud, pervertedly....

In life, nothing is as it seems. A 'sea horse', does not resemble a horse at all. A hot chick across the road might not even be a chick at all.

Now, think about one of the body systems that is the most important in maintaining the homeostasis of the human race: the Reproductive system. So, in this modern age.. what do you think is its main function?-- reproduction? continueing on your legacy? keeping the human race alive?

If thats what you think, then you are terribly wrong. Its main function for most of the people today --> ENTERTAINMENT !!!!

Fate, Destiny and GENETICS !

I remember once saying that fate and destiny are similar in a sense that it somehow influences your life. Fate can change, though difficult, but changing it is still possible. Destiny cannot change, because it does not involve you but instead involves the world around you.

So lately, i've just discovered something new.. Guess what? Fate and Destiny has a new friend.. GENETICS.

But unlike fate and destiny that involves you and everything around you, Genetics only meddles with YOU, as a slave to molecules.

So here's how it works: Everything we do, everything we feel, everything we think.. every move, every thought, every action and every perception we make is based on our BRAIN. The brain, is a mass of highly specialised cells which originated from the fusion of 1 cell from mum, and another from dad which divided and differentiated based on codes and commands within our DNA.

So what i'm trying to say.. is that every action we make is based on how the cells in our brain react to external stimuli. And every reaction we give involved several processes on the cellular level, and everything that happens on the cellular level is predominantly controled by the nucleus of each cells based on genetic codings(DNA). Hence, it is safe to say that DNA is the master of our mind, soul and body that dictates our every move. Even me writing this blog entry is something already subconciously encoded into my DNA.

So, in the end, we are.. truely no more than the slaves of genetic codings, like a computer software carrying out its pre-programmed commands. Words like 'personality', 'behaviour', 'kind', 'selfish', 'smart', 'dumb', you, I, We, Them.. are all just personifications of a group of molecules that, through millenias of chemical reactions, acchieved 'self-awareness'...
