First day of CNY..

Gong xi fa cai every1 !
Wherever you are.. i hope that you are all enjoying yourselves very much.

My first day of cny started with tea ceremony for dad and mum.. a tradition passed on since my grandparents were still around. Its a form of good-wishing and cultivation of respect for the elderly. And its also the only way the young ones get the thickest ang pows :p

The day continued on a lil slightly slow and monotonously.. but things got a lil spicy when the family decided to open a deck of cards and start putting the Ox's luck to the test.

We played poker and i felt like i was cheating the money of others.. I practically won almost every round.. but since we played using only coins, it wasn't exactly a huge amount of winnings.

Anyway.. Its only around 5 in the afternoon now.. who knows who'll come later and what winnings await me.
