The origins of F.U.C.K.

This is a story i heard from my bro and not an Andrew original.. so im just sharing..

So.. first of all, back in the ancient English times, the word 'Fornication' was used to describe voluntary sexual intercourse, and such an act could only be performed when a men and a women have gotten the permission of the King to get married, whereby they would perform fornication on the night of marriage.

So on that night, they would put up a signboard on their home.. stating "Fornication Under Consent of King". Over time, people created an abreviation - FUCK

So when the townsfolk asked newly wed couples what were they doing the night before?

Their answer - "We were FUCKing" (Fornicating under consent of King)
